Dessert's Bar at Casa Damansara

Carol: Eh, what you doing now?
Me: Editting pics to blog.
Carol: About what?
Me: Dessert's Car.
Carol: -_-'

So, Dessert is a person who owns a car. And I am going to blog about it.

This is going to be so fun.

Not too long ago, when Carol and I were going to The Curve we passed by a place near Tropicana called Casa Tropicana. And she saw a rather interesting signboard of a cafe-like place, DESSERT'S BAR.

She wanted to try it ever since and we finally did last week.

If using the way that passes the Tropicana main guard house coming from the NKVE or Aman Suria/Taman Mayang, it is very easy to locate as it is about 300m away from the guard house on the left just before the traffic light which turns off to Riana Green Condominium.

The place is very neatly decorated and it is pretty much Strawberry inspired. A lot of things are red in colour.

Even the walls are filled with strawberry related posters and quotes.

The menu was very impressive. The design and the introduction of its food in it were very very impressive. Many food chains use the least amount of paper, the thinnest A4 paper which is laminated, and on top of that, use very small fonts to accomodate every item in the menu onto one page. But not here they don't.

The first item we ordered was Berry Delicious

RM 12. The white top part is vanilla panna cotta sitting on their very own raspberry jelly, with a dash of honey. Together with some fresh raspberries and strawberries.

I like the name of the second dessert we had.

Six Packed. RM 10. It has six triangular pizzelles, topped with blueberry jam, marmalade and low fat cream, alternating with fresh fruits such as strawberries, kiwi, orange, etc.

We then ordered Champagne. Not the real champagne, but a Grapefully Champagne.

RM 10. It is apple jelly filled with cubes of fresh grapes topped with their homemade yoghurt and dried apricot.

Then lastly we had a sorbet.

Pear with White Wine. I think the name says it all. RM 6.

If you are not from this area, they have another outlet in Subang Parade, at the lower ground area(I think). It's near the restaurants area that's for sure. And another at Mont Kiara (the old Marmalade location).

After all those desserts we had, we headed down to Jalan Sg. Besi in KL to eat Midnight Wan Tan Mee(so named as they only open shop at night till the wee hours). So those weren't desserts. They were starters!
